MuteGrab is a motion design and animation studio run by Jonathan Parson.
Following graduation from Limerick School of Art and Design in 1992, I first worked as a graphic designer in numerous graphic design agencies in Dublin, creating work for such clients as Riverdance, Allied Irish Bank and the Dublin Theatre Festival.
In 2000, I established my own studio, MuteGrab, and relished the freedom of working for my own client base across a broad range of projects – from graphic design for print and the web, to the dynamic emerging world of motion graphics.
Since then, I have created animated and interactive work for a diverse roster of clients, including Nissan, U2, RTE, BBC, Aer Lingus, Toshiba and Bridgestone – creating motion graphics, commercials, TV opening titles, web and interactive content, in addition to print and identity work.
Currently based in West Cork, I continue to work as an independent director and animator – frequently collaborating with clients, agencies and production companies in Ireland, the UK and the USA.
